Emily Kolbet

Hello! I am a mixed-media collage artist from Ames, IA. My layered work weaves together found materials, emphemera, and painted papers. Drawing from vintage imagery and my own photography, I blend nostalgia with a contemporary resonance. My process is equal parts intuitive and deliberate, and I invite the viewer to uncover hidden narratives within the work.
