Hanna Piepel

Hanna Piepel is an interdisciplinary artist exploring the intersection of illustration, design, and ceramics. Her current body of work draws on memories of the past, blending florals, abstract forms, and vibrant color into spontaneous compositions. White porcelain provides a canvas for her screen-printed illustrations and slip-painted designs, creating work that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.

Hanna exhibits her work at juried art festivals and galleries throughout the United States and enjoys teaching ceramics to beginners. Her interest in surface design has also led to the development of Piepel House, a line of ceramic decals inspired by her illustrations. Her illustration work can be found in several published children’s books and novel covers.
